Das Meldesystem zum J/70 European Championship 2025 ist geöffnet
Welcome to European Championship 22-30 August 2025.
Sandhamn, one of Scandinavia’s most iconic sailing venues stands host to the 2025 J/70 European Championship. From the 22rd to 30th of August the world’s best J/70 crews will battle for the championship title on the waters outside of Sandhamn.
Located approximately 30 nautical miles east of the city center, the island of Sandhamn is a bustling sailing Mecca in the Stockholm archipelago. The race area is an open water racecourse right outside the harbor of Sandhamn.
We will be opening the registration on the 26th November 2024, 15.00 EST. See the Notice of Race here.

Dear all J70 crews ,
First of all let me present my self, my name is Vasco Serpa and i am the J/70 country represantative for Portugal.
As you are aware the first J/70 Corinthian Europeans will be hosted in our home water by Clube Naval de Cascais from the 1st to the 6th of April of 2025.
After two successfull Corinthian World Championships in Europe in 23 and 24, the 25 Euro Corinthians will be the sole major event next year in Europe for this category. It’s an event that pretends to keep the corinthian momentum growing in Europe as the worlds next year are going to be held in the US.
I would like to you to remind you that the registration for the event will be opening shortly today at 3.00pm GMT.
You will see the event in the link below and from there your members will be able to register.

IDM J/70 Tag 3 – Mats Schönebeck weiter vorne
IDM J/70 Tag 3 – Unverändert bleibt Mats Schönebeck in Führung
Erstmal ließ Wettfahrtleiter Wolfi Stückl angesichts der Flaute alle Teams im Hafen.
Gegen 14 Uhr baute sich dann ein segelbarer Nordwind auf, der aber immer wieder durch Regenfelder im Regattaumfeld gestört wurde. Ein Start sah vielversprechend aus, aber die Winddreher machten auf der zweiten kreuz schon ein Kursumbau notwendig. Bei immer schwächer werdendem Wind wurde an der Luvtonne die abgekürzte Wettfahrt gezeitet.
Urs Oldani zeigte, dass er die in Führung liegende Crew um Mats Schönebeck schlagen kann, sein Team gewann knapp vor der Crew aus dem NRV. Platz drei ging an Fernando Borja vom Regattaclub Zwenkau.
In der Gesamtwertung gab es keine Veränderungen, Mats Schönebeck bleibt auf Platz eins, vor Urs Oldani vom Segelclub Zug und Max Adami MYC/DTYC.

Gelungener Auftakt zur Internationalen Deutschen Meisterschaft der J/70 im DTYC. Mit einer jungen Crew aus China von der Nansha Sailing Association, zwei Crews aus der Schweiz und einem dänischen Team verdient die Meisterschaft den Namen International.
